This 6-acre park is the most iconic green space in Bothell, located right along the Sammamish River.
Historical Fun: The park is home to the Bothell Historical Museum, which is housed in the historic Hannan House (a 1890s pioneer home). Families can see what a schoolhouse looked like 100 years ago and explore the first cabin built in Bothell.
On-the-Water Activities: From late spring through summer, WhatsSup offers kayak and paddleboard rentals right at the park. Paddling the calm Sammamish River is a safe and scenic activity even for beginners and older children.
The "Bridge to Everywhere": The iconic wooden pedestrian bridge connects the park to the Sammamish River Trail. It’s a flat, paved path perfect for a family bike ride or a walk to spot ducks and blue herons.
Morning: Start at the Park at Bothell Landing. Let the kids burn energy on the playground, then take a quick tour of the Historical Museum (it’s free and very kid-friendly).
Mid-Day: Rent a double kayak from WhatsSup and spend an hour paddling down the river toward the Woodinville wineries.
Lunch: Walk 5 minutes into downtown Bothell to Zulu’s Board Game Cafe. You can choose from thousands of board games to play at your table while you eat (the kids' menu is fantastic).
Treat: Walk over to the Anderson School Creamery for a scoop of house-made ice cream.
Playground & Picnics: There is a large, modern playground for kids and plenty of manicured lawn space for a picnic. In the summer, the park's amphitheater hosts "Kids Concerts & Family Theater," which are free outdoor performances.
